Founded in 1977, the Council on Accreditation (COA) is an international, independent, nonprofit accreditor of human and social service providers. With the support of over 30 national and international organizations, a network of over 500 volunteers, a dedicated board, and highly skilled staff, our community is committed to championing quality by promoting best practice standards and advocating for accreditation.

2020 Best Nonprofit Conference by everyaction

COA 2020 will bring together more than 500 leaders from human and social service organizations across the Unites States and Canada. We’re holding this year’s conference at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge. The hotel is just blocks from beautiful Brooklyn Bridge park, with breathtaking views of downtown Manhattan.

The theme of this year’s conference dovetails with our tagline: Engage. Empower. Evolve. As always, the goal of our conference is to connect those interested in best practices and quality improvement, so that together, we can drive the field forward.
